Don't miss the shelf filled with ammunition as Bourbon rattles on about tripwires. Take the throwing knife from the table and zap the lit lamp (use it). While you can set these off, doing so in later levels will cause enemies to come out by droves and murder you. Loot the bodies of ammo and avoid the can alarms. For the achievement with the Duplet, use the double barrelled shotgun for now.įollow Bourbon through the traincar to the next area. On the otherhand, if you want the Tihar, note that your short and medium range weapon will be the Bastard. Keep the Duplet for now - you will get a great stealth weapon later. While the ones on the wall won't do much except let a Lurker get a free hit as it slips out (monsters are invulnerable as they transition from the play field to the warp holes), the holes on the ground are bottomless pits and will kill you if you fall in. If you decide to brave the tunnel and snag a free Tihar pneumatic sniper rifle, you can on the other hand, you can also rush in, snatch all the ammunition and goodies you can carry, and then race back out before the Lurkers tear you apart.īeware of the holes the Lurkers sneak into. Shortly thereafter, you will find a side-tunnel with noises of animals. While Bourbon articulates something about life and death, use the time to loot the corpse of everything valuable. Take for example, the first corpse you find in the tunnel.
